Vintage Peruvian Confetti (Harlequin Appaloosa)

Huacaya Herdsire (Male) Light Fawn, Light Brown

AOA# 31713122 DOB: 7/29/201014 yrs
We have been looking for a new addition to our appaloosa line-up, and when we found Confetti, it was time to make a move. He'll be arriving in Virginia soon and we are hoping he will be ready to settle some girls in the spring. Take a look at his cria photo, and tell us you wouldn't want a pasture full of cuties like that. Along with Bo and Speks, we think we have a super line-up of appy herdsires, and we picture one day having nothing but appaloosa adults making up the whole breeding herd. ...

Striking appaloosa

Enchanted Hill Yasbo

Huacaya Open (Female) Beige, Medium Fawn

AOA# 31197632 DOB: 6/29/201014 yrs

She may dart away and kick up her heels, but she'll be bac ...

Details
Appy-Go-Lucky, or "Lucky, is a wildly spotted appaloosa whose parents are both appaloosas. Until just a few years ago, appaloosas were so rare that an appaloosa-to-appaloosa breeding was unheard of. Part of this was due to the misunderstanding of the appaloosa gene which had been called a recessive, a partial dominant, an incomplete dominant, or even an "unknown".

We have learned much about the appaloosa gene(s)... and this guy has a pedigree packed with those that are most expressive and colorFULL.

Lucky is the perfect "next generation" for those looking to produce wildly expressed appaloosas.
