OH MY IS THIS ONE CUTE ALPACA! Tia always draws the attention of folks at shows and visitors to the farm. She is that rare harlequin alpaca that is born with fawn fleece only to reveal lovely grey at the first shearing. She has a beautifully spotted face. Tia is full of spunk and solid as a rock. Her fleece has crimp from skin to tip. Take a look at her ARI and you will see about every color on the color card. You will also see some of the top names in the industry listed such as Snowmass Andean Bronze, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Snowass Royal Flush and Snowmass Ovation as well as 5Peruvian Silverado on her dams side. The sire's side brings in PPeruvian Timoteo, PPPeruvian Cornus, DPA Quetzal, My Peruvian Zuleika, Mr. Butterscoth and Zephyrus as well as PPeruvian Pluro. Really a genetic powerhouse. When we attended the Magical Farms sale each year our daughter would spy the cutest leopard spotted cria in the pasture and beg us to buy it. Year after year the pairing of Quetzal and Zuleika produced these lovely cria. Tia is a descendant of that pairing and we jumped at the chance to bring her to our farm. She is co-owned with our daughter. Tia just keeps knocking it out of the park! She has delivered one stellar cria after another. So far she has delivered a harlequin, a pinto, a solid black and a fawn with black points. All have had lovely fleece. Tia has definitely earned her place as one of our top dams on the farm. Tia has now been bred to Red Granites Man of Mystery!! Thanks to Ann?ie Hunt for allowing us to breed to him. We expect an extremely dense cria with tons of architecture to its fleece! To say we are excited for this cria would be an understatement!! Wow!! Tia has delivered a gorgeous 20 pound female from her pairing with Man of Mystery!! This gal will be one to keep an eye on if you have a pattern or harlequin breeder. She is fawn but has lighter fawn spots. Could she be a light harlequin like her daddy? For those looking for unique harlequin appaloosa genetics, Hercules is the guy. His dam is Tennessee Valley Tia, a lovely harlequin, and his sire is the handsome 3X champion MFI Peruvian Tachometer. Tachometer is a spotted pinto with a distinctive different look than an appaloosa or a harlequin. For illustrative purposes, Hercules' full sister, America, is shown in the photo section of this page. America is a spotted pinto expressing this interesting genetic from her father while Hercules expressed as a harlequin appaloosa, similar to his harlequin dam. As Hercules is just beginning his breeding career, it remains to be seen whether he will throw both expressions... or maybe even a combination of the two-- the ultra rare pintaloosa?!

This guy is rock solid. He is bigger than most of the cria that are older than him. Hercules seemed the most appropriate name for him. His conformation is spot on but his fleece...… it does not disappoint! He's very dense, fine and displays excellent crimp.

Hercules had an extensive show career in 2019 and 2020-- Best Breed and Opened, Seven 1st ribbons, seven 2nd place ribbons, two 4th's and one 5th. Hercules is settling females and his first cria are arriving.... now...! :-)
